Collierville is set to join other Tennessee communities on Monday night in deciding whether people with permits to carry concealed handguns can pack them in town parks.
On Sept. 1, a new state law will allow handgun carry permit holders to take their guns with them in municipal parks and on trails unless local officials choose to "opt out."
